Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead customer service, supervise daily operations, and represent Check N Go, Allied Cash Advance, or Cash Store with integrity. The role focuses on regulatory compliance and outstanding service across the district.

You will train staff, manage cash handling, ensure a welcoming environment, and contribute to district-wide supervision and growth. This position is full-time and requires reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1+ year experience in sales, customer service, and/or cash handling preferred
• Strong customer service, active listening and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to multitask and work autonomously
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license
• Willingness to uphold our core values of accountability, inclusivity, transparency, and focus

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on product portfolio and options to meet needs
• Escalate issues to the store manager, DDO, and corporate office as needed
• Answer telephone inquiries related to customer applications and issues
• Perform outbound customer sales, courtesy, and cash-handling calls per regulations and procedures
• Respond professionally to customers and resolve issues while ensuring they feel supported
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and resolve complaints
• Handle and count currency including deposits and bank transactions
• Balance batch receipts with sales reports and resolve discrepancies
• Perform customer verifications and process all transactions per policy
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies
• Complete annual compliance trainings
• Other duties as assigned
