Key duties include merchandise organization, opening/closing procedures, payroll and scheduling, and loss prevention. A strong emphasis on safety, teamwork, and excellent customer service is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery environment preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain store areas and ensure compliance with safety guidelines and policies.
• Assist in payroll, scheduling, cash deposits and loss prevention tasks.
• Supervise, train and develop Store Associates; maintain a safe, respectful environment.
