Job summary

Dollar Tree in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help train and supervise Store Associates, and maintain a positive, safe environment for customers and colleagues.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills; prior retail leadership is preferred. This is a part-time position with potential for growth within a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
