Job summary

Asurion seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Alamo Heights, San Antonio. This hourly leadership role supports the Store Manager in operations, customer experience, repair performance, inventory and team development.

You’ll lead front-of-house activities, assist technicians, and help train and onboard staff while maintaining store standards and service levels. The position requires hands-on leadership, reliability, and willingness to flex across locations as needed to ensure continuous operations

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in running daily store operations, including opening/closing, customer flow, repair intake and completion, and front-of-house execution
• Ensure consistent execution of company processes, standards, customer experience, and repair procedures
• Delegate tasks to align priorities, service levels, repair commitments, and customer needs
• Monitor workflow and resolve operational issues affecting productivity, customer experience, or repair turnaround
• Maintain awareness of store performance, labor coverage, demand, repair volume, and needs
• May be scheduled to work at other company locations within the market; reliable transportation and possible intra-day travel may be required
• Maintain proficiency in repairs and repair-related processes; support technicians with troubleshooting and quality standards
• Manage repair queue, tickets, status updates, and customer communication; coach process improvements
• Support customer check-in, diagnostics, sales conversations, claims support, and issue resolution; reinforce service expectations
• Maintain inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and shrink prevention; ensure parts availability for repair demand
• Assist onboarding and training of new team members; provide hands-on coaching and feedback
• Lead by example; drive alignment and execution; participate in daily huddles and follow-up
• Provide hands-on support to technicians; balance repair execution with leadership responsibilities
