Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a part-time store associate to support daily store operations in Saint Peter, MN. You will assist with merchandise handling, provide friendly customer service, and help maintain clean, organized sales floors and stockrooms.

The role requires lifting up to 55 lbs, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced team environment. Training and ongoing guidance are provided to ensure a positive customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environment is preferred.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment is required.
• Exceptional customer service, organizational, and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Help organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor and maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and store communications as assigned.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays.
