Job summary

Family Dollar in Saint Peter, MN seeks an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, train associates and ensure clean, organized sales floors, stockrooms and seasonal areas.

You will help with merchandising, opening/closing procedures, payroll records, scheduling, and loss prevention while upholding company policies and safety guidelines. This role is part-time.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills are required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns they may have.
• Assist in merchandising, ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
• Supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
