Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with opening/closing, merchandise handling, and maintaining shop standards to deliver a positive customer experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, strong communication, and leadership tasks to train and guide store associates while ensuring safety and cleanliness across the store.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Store management experience in retail is preferred.
• Strong communication and customer service skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day store activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom and sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Maintain promotional front displays and store areas to company standards.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention activities.
• Support the Store Manager in training and development of staff.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment for customers and associates.
