O'Reilly Auto Parts is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager in sales, service, and store operations in Bakersfield. You will lead a team to deliver outstanding customer service, manage staffing, and coach team members while handling recruiting and training tasks.

Responsibilities include ensuring smooth store operations, processing returns and exchanges, and maintaining policy compliance. The role offers essential growth opportunities within a nationwide parts retailer.

Qualifications

• Required: Sales Specialist Training, Assistant Manager Certification and RSS Certification
• Desired: Certified Parts Professional Certification; ASE Certification
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)

Responsibilities

• Lead the store team in delivering excellent customer service to retail and professional customers.
• Supervise customer service levels at the retail showroom and ensure staff execution of service programs.
• Ensure adequate staffing at the sales counter during peak hours.
• Assist in setting team goals, provide feedback, and mentor team members.
• Participate in recruiting tasks and interviews to hire qualified team members.
• Ensure phones are answered per policy and process orders efficiently.
