Job summary

Bosselman Pump & Pantry is seeking an 1st Assistant Manager to oversee the total operation of an assigned Pump & Pantry location, including all programs and business units. In the absence of the General Manager, you will execute responsibilities to run the store, manage staff, and uphold safety and service standards.

Responsibilities include hiring support, scheduling, inventory control, and ensuring food safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager preferred, with minimum of six months as Sales Associate required.
• Associated Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid Food Handler’s permit or ServSafe Certification where required by law or company policy.
• Must be able to communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and back office functions to ensure timely, accurate results.
• Assist in scheduling, labor management, and adherence to budgets.
• Maintain customer service standards and supervise cash handling and deposits.
• Address personnel, customer, and facility concerns promptly and professionally.
• Ensure food safety procedures and proper storage, dating, and temperatures are maintained.
