Job summary

Bosselman Pump & Pantry in York, Nebraska, is seeking a 1st Assistant Manager to oversee daily operations, supervise 4 to 16 team members, and support the General Manager. The role covers cash handling, back office tasks, inventory control, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include hiring support, scheduling, coaching, and maintaining store cleanliness and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years as Assistant Manager preferred with at least 6 months as Sales Associate.
• Associated degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid Food Handler’s permit or ServSafe Certification where required by law or policy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the location in the absence of the General Manager.
• Ensure back-office functions, bookwork, and inventory control are completed accurately and timely.
• Maintain customer service standards and smooth cash handling and deposits.
