Job summary

Bosselman Pump & Pantry in North Platte, NE, is seeking a 1st Assistant Manager to oversee the total operation of the location, including all licensed programs and business units within the store.

In the absence of the General Manager, you will supervise staff, manage daily routines, ensure customer service standards, and drive schedules, inventory, and safety compliance while upholding company policies and promoting growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years’ experience as an Assistant Manager preferred.
• Minimum of six months as Sales Associate required.
• Associated Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must possess a valid Food Handler’s permit or ServSafe Certification where required by law or policy.

Responsibilities

• Oversee hiring, discipline, and termination in partnership with District Manager and HR.
• Ensure daily/weekly/monthly routines, back office tasks, inventory control are completed.
• Support customer service standards and customer needs.
• Supervise cash control and bank deposits.
• Ensure food safety procedures and proper storage/handling.
