Job summary

Goodwill Oregon is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for the Springfield store. You will assist the Store Manager in overseeing donations processing, pricing, and sales, while ensuring safety and customer service standards.

The role requires leadership of a team, scheduling, and adherence to budgets in a fast-paced retail environment. You will manage staff, performance, and store operations to meet production and sales goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ work experience in a managerial role in a retail environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a current valid Oregon Driver License and insurable driving record.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain CPR/First Aid card.

Responsibilities

• Oversee donation handling, processing, and pricing to maximize throughput.
• Lead sales performance through display, rotation, signage, and pricing guidelines.
• Ensure quality customer service and timely response to inquiries and complaints.
• Meet or exceed safety, loss prevention, and audit standards (90%+).
• Hire, train, and supervise store personnel; manage schedules and performance.
• Assist in budgeting, processing goals, and cost control; monitor store metrics.
• Maintain store cleanliness, safety, and appearance; ensure proper cash handling.
• Coordinate with VP Retail Operations and other teams as needed.
