Job summary

Goodwill Central Oklahoma is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead daily operations of donated merchandise and supervise shift leaders and store associates. The role emphasizes customer service, budget adherence, and staff development within a mission-driven nonprofit.

You will hire, train, evaluate and motivate team members, ensure safety and SOP compliance, and maintain accurate records and reports while supporting store goals and community impact.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED, preferred.
• Associate degree or completion of related retail management coursework preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in retail, manufacturing, or related field.
• Valid Oklahoma Driver’s License and auto insurance.
• Must be 21 years old.
• Fluent English written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of donated merchandise in line with policies and budget projections.
• Hire, train, evaluate, motivate and supervise store personnel to meet standards.
• Greet and assist donors/customers and provide excellent service.
• Open/close cash registers and balance drawers; handle daily money duties.
• Ensure safety, security and SOP adherence across the store.
• Prepare and maintain store records and daily reports.
