Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable store leader to deliver a WOW customer experience and train crew on the BEST service standards. You will oversee daily activities, assist with stock, and act as Manager on Duty, ensuring smooth openings and closings.

Collaborate with the store leadership team to drive sales, manage expenses, and support onboarding and ongoing training while maintaining a clean, safe, and organized selling floor.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members are WOWing the Customer through personal contact with customers and trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees the daily activities of all store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively and provide excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for quick placement on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening or closing the store, including cash handling, locking doors, and setting alarms.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising, staff performance, and customer service.
• Partners with the store leadership team in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance including trash removal, sweeping, bathrooms, and stock room upkeep.
