Job summary

Five Below is seeking an hourly team member for our Ann Arbor store. You will engage customers, train crew on service standards, and assist with stocking and daily operations. As Manager on Duty when needed, you’ll handle cash, alarms, and ensure smooth openings/closes.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year of leadership experience, and strong communication. Flexible hours include days, evenings, weekends, and potential overnight shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Minimum 1 years of management experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact and trains crew on the BEST customer service experience
• Oversee daily activities of store associates and ensure they perform duties effectively and provide excellent service
• Assist with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for fast floor placement
• Act as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations and staffing
• Open or close the store, secure cash, set alarms and ensure smooth daily operation
• Support onboarding and training of associates on store policies and product knowledge
• Drive store sales and control expenses by optimizing merchandising and customer service
