Job summary

CubeSmart Self-Storage is seeking a Store Operations Associate to manage stores in your district. You will develop customer relationships, demonstrate strong service, and handle leasing, payments, and daily banking tasks.

You will also perform maintenance, ensure cleanliness, and maintain a safe, welcoming facility. The role emphasizes daytime hours with potential Sundays off, competitive pay, and benefits including PTO and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills including MS Office products.
• You must have the ability to work Saturdays.
• Access to a personal vehicle, a valid driver's license, and up-to-date insurance are required.
• You must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Some locations may require Sunday hours.

Responsibilities

• Developing customer relationships by identifying self-storage needs and providing appropriate solutions while delivering a standout customer experience.
• Interacting face to face with customers, providing excellent service, and building rapport.
• Meeting monthly sales goals and metrics.
• Walking the property to perform daily operational tasks including lock checks and showing units to customers.
• Working both independently and on a team renting self-storage units, selling store merchandise, managing the leasing process, accepting payments utilizing our POS system, completing daily bank deposits, and making courtesy calls to customers regarding late payments.
• Physical tasks include daily walks of the property, cleaning the units and store grounds, opening/closing storage doors (up to 50 lbs.).
• Maintaining facility including mopping, sweeping, changing light bulbs, cleaning units, and tidy offices.
• Keeping a clean and safe storage facility to meet company guidelines.
