Job summary

Five Below is seeking a qualified store leader to oversee daily operations and coach crew members to deliver an outstanding customer experience. This hourly role requires strong communication, multitasking, and a calm, proactive approach to store readiness and safety.

You will support merchandising, fast, friendly checkout, and high standards across the sales floor while reporting to the Store Manager. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Wows customers through personal contact with customers.
• Trains crew on the BEST customer service experience; ensures fast, friendly checkout.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates, ensuring they perform duties effectively.
• Assists with receiving and stocking to keep items on the sales floor.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, overseeing store operations, staff, and issues.
• Manages opening/closing duties, cash handling, and security.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates.
• Drives sales and controls expenses through merchandising and service improvements.
• Partners with store leadership on merchandising and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance and housekeeping tasks.
• Additional duties may be assigned by the Store Manager.
