Dollar General Corporation is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will supervise staff, help manage merchandise presentation, complete deposits, and assist with daily operations to maximize profitability and reduce losses.

You will lead by example in cashier accountability, inventory control, and adherence to company policies while ensuring excellent customer experiences.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year retail experience and six months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and store operations knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Provide superior customer service leadership; greet customers and operate cash register.
• Open and close the store at least two days per week.
• Assist Store Manager with scheduling, training, safety meetings, and policy compliance.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, restocking, and displays per planograms.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by controlling damages, markdowns, scans, and paperwork.
• Oversee cashier accountability, refunds, overrides, and deposits.
• Assist in store management in Store Manager's absence.
