Dollar General is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help run a clean, organized store with a customer-first focus. You will assist the Store Manager with supervision, scheduling, merchandising, and deposits, while performing stocking and cashier duties to maximize profitability and protect assets.

You will lead by example in customer service, ensure policy compliance, and help manage daily operations to support sales and integrity across the store network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year retail experience and 6 months supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Greet customers, operate cash register, and process purchases accurately.
• Open/close store at least two days per week.
• Assist with scheduling, training, and safety meetings for staff.
• Manage merchandise receiving, stocking, and displays per planograms.
• Maintain accurate inventory and deter damages or losses.
