Job summary

Five Below is hiring a crew-focused leader to support store operations in Freehold, NJ. You will train crew members, oversee daily activities, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience.

The role requires a High School diploma and at least 1 year of management experience, with strong communication, multitasking, and composure under pressure. Flexibility to work weekends and evenings is expected.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and think creatively.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact.
• Trains the crew on the BEST customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of store associates to ensure duties are performed.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking and organizing new stock for fast shelf placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, handling store operations, staff, and emergencies.
• Occasionally manages opening/closing the store, cash handling, alarms, and daily setup.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and customer service.
• Partners with store leadership in merchandising procedures and World Recovery.
• Performs store maintenance tasks including cleaning and stock room upkeep.
