Job summary

Responsibilities

• Work in all areas of our stores including cashiering, stocking, general maintenance, and cleaning
• Assist store management and team members in the achievement of a favorable customer shopping experience
• Assist in leading teams in merchandising and operating initiatives
• Identify opportunities in the store and create action plans
• Drive sales with management to maximize profits while managing shrink
• Support management in reducing turnover and maintaining operations
• Help manage labor and supply costs to meet targets
• Ensure returns/exchanges comply with policies
• Monitor inventory and stocking conditions to maintain ordering integrity
• Maintain a positive attitude and adapt to ads and promotions
• Adhere to food safety regulations and safety programs
• Report safety risks or illegal activity promptly
• Follow local, state, and federal laws and company guidelines
• Oversee total store operations in absence of store management
• Be flexible to work any shift and able to open or close the store
• Foster trust and respect among team members
• Make customers feel welcome and assist with product questions
