Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. You will assist with day-to-day store activities, support customers, and help manage merchandise flow from delivery to floor.

The role emphasizes opening/closing procedures, maintaining store standards, and supervising/mentoring store associates to deliver a positive customer experience while upholding company policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize and transfer merchandise from delivery to stockroom to floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain store areas and keep stockroom organized.
• Assist in ordering merchandise and loss prevention.
• Supervise, train, and develop store associates.
• Ensure a safe, respectful environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of store and restrooms.
• Other duties as assigned.
