Socket.dev is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service, and team development. You will assist with daily store activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise flows smoothly from delivery to sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Demonstrated customer service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner.
• Organize merchandise from delivery to stockroom to sales floor.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Maintain promotional displays and store fixtures.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, process damaged goods, payroll and scheduling.
• Maintain well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom.
• Protect store assets including cash.
• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed.
• Help supervise, train, and develop Store Associates.
• Maintain clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
