Job summary

Genuine Parts Company is seeking a Store Operations Analyst to analyze metrics such as RGNs, core accounts, bad debt, store billings, cycle counts, Pcard usage and cash variances. The role involves presenting actionable insights to field leadership and collaborating with Loss Prevention and Operations teams to identify opportunities and plans of resolution.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of analytical experience, strong Excel skills, and a Bachelor’s degree preferred (high school diploma

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of relevant analytical experience.
Proficient in Excel and data analysis.
Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required as alternate.
Experience with reconciliation and financial/process controls is a plus.

Responsibilities

Review store operations databases for accuracy of reported information.
Submit daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation items per company policies.
Analyze aged RGNs and trends, provide weekly updates on resolutions and credit flow.
Review AR bad debt and Core Account management for root-cause analysis; assist collections.
Ensure Pcard activity compliance and identify anomalies for loss prevention review.
Assess cash handling metrics and store deposit accuracy, COD collections, and over/short issues.
