Job summary

The Michaels Companies store is seeking a Merchandise Manager for the Pitt-North Hills location to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, pricing, promotions, and visual standards. You will lead workload planning, ensure stock accuracy, and maintain a customer-ready environment.

The role requires coordinating with store leadership, providing Manager-on-Duty coverage, and developing team members through structured onboarding

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws.
• Ensure execution of policies and standards, maintaining store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage and maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute and maintain Store-In-Stock Optimization routines for inventory and replenishment.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Support a clean, organized store environment including backroom and sales floor recovery.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, integrity, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant promotional signage and product placement.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN receiving processes.
• Manage damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train, coach, and develop team members; support Asset Protection.
