Job summary

Michaels is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution at the Pitt-Waterfront store. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure pricing accuracy, timely promotions, and a customer-ready environment.

The role requires 3+ years in retail leadership, strong workload planning, and the ability to manage in-stock levels, shipping from store, and inventory controls, while coaching team members and supporting

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years of retail leadership experience.
• Ability to lead SOP adherence and company programs.
• Experience with truck processing, inventory routines, and planogram execution.
• Capability to manage in-stock levels, replenishment, pricing integrity, and visual standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and merchandise flow to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization (SISO) routines to improve in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and maintain visual merchandising standards.
• Ensure pricing accuracy and timely promotional execution.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage to maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Train, coach, and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner on Asset Protection to reduce shrink and ensure safe operations.
