Job summary

Five Below is seeking a STORE MANAGER ON DUTY to lead daily operations in our Chicago store. You will oversee receiving, displays, cash handling, staff supervision and customer service to ensure a WOW guest experience.

You will train associates, drive sales, manage inventory integrity, uphold corporate guidelines, and coordinate store openings and closings while maintaining a safe, energetic, and fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Ability to multi-task and stay composed under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast placement on the sales floor.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays, signage, and promotions per corporate guidelines.
• Opens/closes the store, secures cash, locks doors, sets alarms for daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, overseeing store operations, staff, and customer service.
• Supports onboarding and training of associates on policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses through merchandising, staffing, and service.
