Job summary

The Michaels Companies, Inc. is seeking a Merchandise Manager for the Jackson-Madison, MS store to drive merchandising and store operations, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

You will ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready environment through strong workload planning and inventory management. Responsibilities include leading SOP adherence, ensuring policy execution, MOD coverage, and overseeing stock flow and in-stock

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to stand long periods and move about the store.
• Lift up to 25–50 pounds; climb ladders or step stools.
• Strong workload planning and execution skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead truck and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization with store leadership.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization to drive in-stock levels.
• Oversee Planogram execution and visual merchandising standards.
• Maintain pricing integrity and timely promotional execution.
• Manage Ship from Store fulfillment and RTV/ASN processes.
