Job summary

The Michaels Stores in Jackson, TN seeks a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution, including truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards. This role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotional execution, and a customer-ready store environment through strong workload planning and inventory management.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Ability to manage SOPs and company programs.
• Strong inventory and merchandising discipline.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to SOPs and Company programs.
• Ensure execution of Company policies and standards, holding team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty (MOD) coverage, maintaining floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution processes, ensuring timely unloading and efficient flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and daily task prioritization, coordinating staffing with store leadership.
• Execute and maintain SISO routines to drive in-stock levels, replenishment accuracy, and sales readiness.
• Oversee Planogram (POG) execution, ensuring merchandising sets are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Establish and maintain visual merchandising standards and product presentation.
• Support a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment including backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, ensuring product accuracy and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant promotional signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time, maintaining pricing integrity across the floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment for accurate picking, packing, and shipping.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with documentation accuracy and inventory adjustments.
