Job summary

Five Below is seeking a capable manager to oversee daily store operations in a fast-paced retail environment. You will supervise associates, ensure accurate merchandising, and maintain excellent customer service while managing opening/closing procedures and cash handling activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
• Creative thinking under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversees receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for fast shelf placement.
• Manages setup and maintenance of displays, ensuring accurate signage and promotions.
• Handles opening/closing duties including cash security and alarms for daily operations.
• Acts as Manager on Duty, responsible for store operations, staff, and customer service.
• Guides daily activities of store associates and monitors performance.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on policies and procedures.
• Drives sales and controls expenses by optimizing merchandising and service quality.
• Executes market plan with product placement and signage per corporate guidelines.
• Ensures Inventory Integrity processes are followed.
