Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience: Cashier experience preferred but not required.
• Job Related Skills: Math, ability to count money and give accurate change.
• Ability to handle different customer’s personalities in a professional manner.
• High Energy, Positive attitude, Friendly, Courteous.
• Excellent People Skills

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers to ensure a courteous, fast, and friendly shopping experience.
• Train and develop all team members in department duties.
• Oversee merchandise presentation and signing as directed by management.
• Verify shelf signage and ensure floor plans are followed safely.
• Coordinate with receiving to stock new freight within 24 hours.
• Communicate with store management about selling and non-selling merchandise.
• Ensure price changes are completed on time.
• Conduct inventory counts and maintain accuracy.
• Assist in other store areas as needed.
• Deter theft by reporting suspicious activity.
