Job summary

The Michaels of Canada is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution in Waldorf, MD. You will oversee truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards to ensure accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store environment.

Key responsibilities include leading SOP adherence, managing store conditions, covering MOD shifts, coordinating stock movement, and maintaining in-stock levels.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage SOP adherence and company programs with the Store Manager
• Ensure policy execution, store conditions, and results accountability
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage for floor leadership and service standards
• Oversee truck execution, sorting, and merchandise flow to the sales floor
• Plan workloads and daily tasks with store leadership to meet business needs
• Maintain in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy through Store-In-Stock routines
• Ensure accurate planogram execution and visual merchandising standards
• Support backroom organization and customer-ready store environment
• Manage inventory control, shrink reduction, and damages procedures
• Coordinate Ship from Store, RTVs, and ASN receiving processes
