The Michaels Companies Inc. in Pittsburgh is seeking a Merchandise Manager to drive merchandising and operational execution across truck processing, inventory routines, planogram sets, and visual standards.

The role ensures accurate pricing, timely promotions, and a customer-ready store through strong planning and inventory discipline. Lead the team in SOP adherence, store conditions, and service standards while coordinating with store leadership to optimize staffing and workflow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years retail leadership experience.
• Experience executing SOPs and company programs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in leading adherence to SOPs and company programs.
• Ensure execution of policies and hold team accountable for store conditions and results.
• Provide Manager-on-Duty coverage to maintain floor leadership and service standards.
• Lead truck execution, unloading, sorting, and flow of merchandise to the sales floor.
• Own workload planning and prioritization with store leadership to align staffing.
• Execute Store-In-Stock Optimization routines to drive in-stock levels and replenishment accuracy.
• Oversee Planogram execution and ensure merchandising sets are completed on schedule.
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and initial product presentation per company expectations.
• Support a clean, organized, and customer-ready store environment including backroom organization.
• Manage inventory control, product accuracy, and stock movement.
• Execute ad sets with compliant signage and product placement.
• Complete price changes accurately and on time across floor and systems.
• Oversee Ship from Store fulfillment and ensure accurate picking, packing, and shipping.
• Process RTVs and ASN receiving with proper inventory adjustments.
• Manage store damages procedures and shrink reduction.
• Train and develop team members through onboarding and ongoing skill-building.
• Partner in maintaining Asset Protection practices.
