Job summary

ALDI is seeking a Full-Time Store Manager Trainee in Asheville, NC to learn store leadership. You will lead operations, develop teams, and drive results while working with associates in a fast-paced environment.

The program prepares you to run your own store with industry-leading training and growth opportunities. Starting wage is $29.50 per hour, with an estimated first-year earnings of $104,000-$107,500 including salary and bonus where applicable; a $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports to ensure desired results; leads and develops store personnel.
• Develops and implements action plans using company provided resources to improve operating results.
• Oversees the resolution of employee and customer concerns with the district manager as needed.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel, including advancement and termination as appropriate.
• Communicates, cooperates, and interacts effectively with all levels of ALDI personnel, customers, third-party vendors and business partners.
• Leads, develops, and supervises the team to develop sales, engage our teams, satisfy customers and achieve high performance.
• Understands and executes the overarching company strategy while modeling core values.
• Fosters a positive and collaborative working environment and promotes teamwork.
• Oversees compliance with policies and procedures and applicable regulations.
• Trains and develops store personnel to maximize potential.
• Observes and evaluates performance and provides feedback and coaching.
