Job summary

Tractor Supply Company in Lewisburg, TN seeks a Manager Trainee to learn the duties of the Store Manager role and develop skills to lead the team, drive sales, manage inventory and ensure Legendary Customer Service.

You will train in scheduling, merchandising, people development, budgeting, and store operations while supporting the District and Regional teams. This full-time role requires a flexible schedule including peak-season hours.

Qualifications

• Retail experience or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural-Science or Business related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring, developing, evaluating, disciplining, and retaining efficient team members.
• Delivering Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet the Customer, Uncover Needs & Wants, Recommend Product Solutions, Ask to Add Value & Appreciate the Customer.
• Create a welcoming store environment and reflect diversity and inclusion.
• Schedule, organize, and plan daily activities for team members.
• Lead team to deliver a Legendary shopping experience.
• Communicate and enforce company processes; coordinate with District/Regional Managers to resolve issues.
• Learn promotions, recognition and empowerment to create a desirable work environment.
• Assist in budgeting, payroll analysis, and sales forecasting.
• Ensure safe and productive work conditions and proper inventory controls.
