Job summary

Tractor Supply seeks a Manager Trainee to learn the duties of a Store Manager and develop essential leadership skills. You will focus on delivering Legendary Customer Experience, building the team, driving sales, and managing inventory and profit.

The role requires coordinating scheduling, merchandising, and daily operations while upholding company policies and promoting a diverse, inclusive work environment. This is a full-time position with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or farming knowledge preferred; supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver’s license.
• High school diploma; Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural-Science or Business preferred; relevant experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, develop, evaluate, discipline, and retain team members.
• Deliver legendary customer service following GURA: Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, Add value and appreciate.
• Schedule and organize daily activities for efficient store operations.
• Lead team to deliver a legendary shopping experience.
• Communicate processes and policies; work with District/Regional managers to solve problems.
• Learn budgeting and sales forecasting; manage paperwork and inventories.
