Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising, staging, stocking and pricing as directed.
• Assist in all aspects of inventory management and store paperwork.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and maintain store cleanliness and safety.
• Support store open/close procedures and cash controls.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
