Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as diagrams, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures manuals.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations including percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Familiarity with IBM cash register functions and reporting.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Awareness of store security and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stocking according to store practices.
• Assist in inventory management and paperwork to ensure accuracy.
• Follow ordering practices to hit in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership.
• Model company procedures and policies.
• Participate in opening and closing procedures.
• Ensure proper cash handling and bank deposits.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked stores and safe environment.
• Operate store in manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Complete paperwork and documentation on time.
