Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking a motivated Store Manager Trainee to lead daily store operations and develop teams in a fast-paced retail environment. You will handle stocking, merchandising, customer service and store standards while learning to own store performance with strong leadership from the front.

Starting wage is $29.50 per hour, with an earning potential of $87,500–$100,000 in year one (inclusive of salary and bonus where applicable).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior retail experience and prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops store personnel; communicates job responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Interviews candidates for store positions and provides recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages personnel and advances eligible staff; ensures effective collaboration across ALDI personnel, customers, vendors and partners.
• Oversees store operations, trains and develops staff, plans weekly schedules, and ensures policy compliance.
• Ensures a safe working environment, observes performance, provides feedback, and coaches as appropriate.
