Job summary

FirstCash is seeking a Store Manager Trainee with a minimum of six months of Store Management experience. The role supports the Store Manager in leading staff, driving store performance, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

You will manage daily operations, promote asset protection, and participate in recruitment, training, and profitability analysis while earning hourly pay plus commission and performance bonuses. This position targets growth into Store Management.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 6 months store management experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers in a friendly, professional manner and resolve issues.
• Assist in training Pawnbrokers to FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent through prescribed channels.
• Open/close store, count cash and merchandise, protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and security procedures.
• Manage inventory, loans, merchandising, POS, and reporting processes.
• Analyze store financials and drive profitability through setting goals.
• Maintain store standards and loan qualification processes.
• Communicate store mission and objectives to staff.
• Maintain product knowledge and support a customer-centric environment.
• Act as manager on duty in the absence of the Store Manager.
