Job summary

Petroleum Marketing Group in Kinston, NC is seeking a Store Manager to oversee daily operations, drive exceptional customer service, supervise staff, and ensure compliance with company standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will handle scheduling, inventory, cash handling, and training, while maintaining cleanliness and safety. The role requires hands-on leadership, reliability, and the ability to motivate a team to meet performance targets.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED, or college degree.
Basic math, cash-handling, and computer skills.
Valid NC Driver’s License.
Schedule Flexibility.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Leadership skills.
Work a minimum of 45 hours per week.
Working Cell Phone with texting ability.

Responsibilities

Greet customers and provide an exceptional experience on an ongoing basis.
Operate cash register following PMG standards and handle cash/register paperwork.
Train, coach, and hold employees accountable.
Execute daily tasks with speed, accuracy, and efficiency.
Oversee store operations including cleanliness, inventory, stocking, and ordering.
Ensure shifts are covered and coordinate with District/Area Manager as needed.
Maintain records and inputs data into computer system.
