Job summary

Journeys is seeking a Store Manager in Training to recruit, hire, train, and manage store personnel to achieve sales goals and protect company assets. You will lead a team, control expenses, and pursue growth opportunities within a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications include 1–2 years of retail sales and prior retail management experience, with strong interpersonal and customer service skills. Must be able to work 45 hours per week, including nights and weekends, and be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Meet and exceed store and personal sales goals.
• Recruit, interview, and hire high-caliber employees.
• Train and develop a successful sales team.
• Provide feedback, coaching, and enforce company policies.
• Ensure that all company initiatives are properly implemented and to the standard of the company direction.
• Conduct monthly performance reviews.
• Recognize talented staff and develop them for growth within the company.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of daily store operations.
• Supervise and manage all aspects of Loss Prevention practices.
• Plan weekly staffing schedules in compliance with schedules policy.
• Provide a fun, full service experience to all customers.
• Resolve customer issues effectively.
