Job summary

Goodwill Industries International, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead one of our retail locations in a fast-paced environment, driving sales, staffing, and operations while delivering excellent customer service.

You will recruit and train a high-performing team, manage budgets, schedules, merchandising, and donations, and partner with Mission Services to support community programs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail management experience.
• Proven leadership and coaching abilities.
• Experience in sales, staffing and operations management.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day retail operations to achieve sales, production, and financial goals.
• Recruit, hire, train, coach, and develop a high-performing team.
• Create employee schedules and manage daily staffing needs.
• Monitor store performance and implement strategies to improve results.
• Oversee merchandising, inventory, pricing, and donation growth initiatives.
• Ensure outstanding customer service and a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized store environment.
• Manage budgets, control expenses, and analyze operational performance.
• Enforce company policies, safety procedures, and operational standards.
• Partner with Mission Services to support employee and participant development.
• Foster a positive workplace culture focused on teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
