Job summary

GPM Investments, Village Pantry, seeks a Store Manager in West Lafayette, IN. You will lead daily store operations, manage a team of 8–15, ensure exceptional service, and drive performance across all shifts, including evenings and weekends.

You will recruit, train, and coach staff, oversee inventory and banking, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards while promoting company programs and promotions.

Qualifications

• Open availability to work any shift as needed.
• Valid driver’s license, access to a personal vehicle, and proof of insurance.
• Retail or food management experience preferred.
• Minimum age 21+.
• Food Safety Certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Own store operations, team, and performance.
• Lead 8-15 employees across all shifts.
• Be the go-to person for coverage; work days with availability for evenings/overnights/weekends/holidays.
• Run registers, stock, upsell, clean, and maintain facilities.
• Coach staff to deliver excellent service and promote promotions.
• Recruit, hire, and train new team members.
• Manage inventory, vendor orders, deliveries, and merchandising.
• Handle banking, deposits, and safety/compliance.
• Maintain high standards in safety, cleanliness, and customer satisfaction.
• Control expenses and labor hours while hitting sales goals.
• Execute all company programs and marketing initiatives.
• Be ready to cross-train and manage deli/QSR operations when needed.
