The Salvation Army Thrift Store in Indianapolis is seeking a dynamic Store Manager to lead store operations, supervise staff, and ensure exceptional customer service while advancing our mission of helping those in need.

You will oversee recruitment, training, scheduling, payroll, donations, pricing, and presentation, while maintaining safety and compliance with OSHA and internal policies. This role offers community impact and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in store management and staff supervision.
• Ability to recruit, train, and schedule employees.
• Familiarity with cash handling and banking procedures.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety policies.
• Strong customer service orientation.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, and supervise store staff.
• Manage scheduling and payroll processing.
• Oversee donation processes, pricing, and presentation.
• Ensure store maintenance, safety, and appearance.
• Oversee cash handling and daily deposits.
• Provide daily reports on store production and sales.
• Address customer complaints and educate about the program.
• Collaborate with Regional Manager on hires and reviews.
