Qualifications

• Reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math and percentages.
• Knowledge of cash handling and deposit controls.
• Experience with cash register functions and reporting.
• Understanding of merchandising and inventory management.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing and termination practices (legal compliance).
• Familiarity with store cash, keys and safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and ensure proper staffing.
• Provide training, conduct performance evaluations and address gaps.
• Recommend pay and advancement decisions.
• Communicate performance and safety expectations; lead meetings and safety initiatives.
• Open and close the store as required and ensure operations run smoothly.
• Analyze financial statements for trends and control expenses.
• Manage ordering and inventory to meet stock targets and cycles.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing and signage across fixtures.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and cash control procedures.
• Provide superior customer service leadership and a safe environment.
• Keep the store clean, organized and compliant with policies.
• Ensure equipment and tools are available to perform tasks.
• Complete paperwork and documentation on schedule.
