Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and procedures; strong math and cash handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees according to laws and company policies; ensure store is staffed.
• Provides proper training, conducts performance evaluations, and counseling up to termination.
• Makes recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates performance and safety expectations; coordinates meetings to enforce policies.
• Ensures store opens and closes on schedule; maintains reliable staffing.
• Evaluates operating statements to identify sales trends, profitability, and shrink.
• Manages inventory through ordering, stock replenishment, and cycle counts.
• Maintains store presentation, pricing, and signage according to guidelines.
• Ensures cashier accountability and cash control procedures.
• Delivers superior customer service leadership and maintains a clean, safe store environment.
