Qualifications

• Read and interpret documents such as diagrams and safety rules.
• Perform mathematical calculations and percentages accurately.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Operate IBM cash registers to generate reports.
• Understand inventory management and merchandising practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of recruiting, interviewing, hiring and termination practices.
• Know cash, safety and facility control policies.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees and staff the store.
• Provide training and conduct performance evaluations.
• Recommend pay rate and career advancement where appropriate.
• Communicate expectations and coordinate safety and policy meetings.
• Open and close the store as required.
• Monitor business trends and identify opportunities.
• Manage stock replenishment and inventory issues weekly.
• Ensure proper merchandising and pricing displays.
• Maintain accurate inventory and cash control.
• Lead customer service and maintain a clean store.
• Ensure tools and equipment are available for tasks.
• Follow SOPs and complete paperwork on deadlines.
