Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager in Illinois to oversee all facets of store operations, including staffing, merchandising, inventory control and day-to-day execution. You will lead a team to deliver excellent customer service while maintaining store standards.

Responsibilities include training staff, evaluating performance, enforcing policies, and ensuring payroll and compliance with labor laws. The role requires hands-on leadership and reliable store coverage, opening and closing

Responsibilities

• Manage pay rate discussions and advancement when appropriate.
• Communicate expectations, safety standards, and policies to staff.
• Open and close the store reliably each day.
• Monitor sales, expenses, and inventory to meet targets.
• Oversee stock replenishment, merchandising, and signage.
