Responsibilities

Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and company policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
Provide training and evaluate performance; identify gaps for appropriate solutions.
Make recommendations regarding employee pay rate and advancement.
Communicate performance, conduct and safety expectations; coordinate meetings and events.
Ensure store is properly opened and closed each day.
Open the store at least twice per week and close at least twice per week.
Evaluate operating statements to identify trends and opportunities for cost control.
Review ordering plan and inventory issues weekly; manage stock replenishment.
